Friday faves

Let’s face it, relaxing is something most of us need or want to do more often – so to help, we’ve made it the theme of this week’s Friday faves.

Soak away stress

You can’t get more relaxing than a warm bath, and these beauties from new Australian brand Bao Baths exude style and rejuvenation. They have that laid-back luxury look we love, as well as the function needed to make a bath delightful without costing a (very warm and relaxed) arm and leg.

While you’re waiting for your bath to arrive, book in to City Cave, the most relaxing place in Australia, for a floatation or infrared sauna experience.

Invest for comfort and longevity

Our friends at The Iconic released their 4 designers to invest in this week, and they are all home grown.  If you haven’t yet tried Shona Joy, Significant Other or Blanca then check them out. As well as being Australian, these brands are committed to delivering long-lasting sustainable clothing that screams laid-back luxe. The Iconic recommend them alongside an Aussie fashion classic, Camilla and Marc.

A little help may be needed

To combat busy lives, and for the many creatures who experience anxiety, Aussie wellness stars Kissed Earth provide some helpers. To boost vitality and reduce the impacts of stress, try a mushroom supplement. And there’s even something for pets who need some chill.

Take a load off by being weighed down

There’s a lot of weighted blankets out there that promise calm, but we find that you don’t need to buy something special to get the same  effect. Next time you replace your quilt cover go for a heavy-weight velvet style. And likewise with your quilt, invest in a good quality weighty one and you’ll experience a wave of calm every time you jump into bed. The best ones can be found at Aura and Sheridan.

At Australian Style Hunter, we only recommend brands and products that we believe are the best you can get. We sometimes use affiliate links, which means we get a small payment if you decide to purchase what we recommend.

We’re always on the look out for anything stylish and Australian, so get in touch if you have a recommendation — we’d love to hear it. And thanks for supporting Australian style!
